Hello beautiful people, I’m Chiara an Italian Make Up Artist based in London!

Behind the scene on one of my latest project I worked.

After 11 years of activity ,I’m finally building my professional website, it is still a work in progress since 'I’m doing everything on my own at the moment, but here it is! yeahhhh!! It’s nice to have a space where all of my works, info and social are collected.

Let’s talk a little bit about me, I was born in Genova, Italy, and I moved to London in 2015,thanks to a friend who was about to move here to!

I did my first professional makeup course in my hometown in 2012-2013. I worked for a few years in Genoa for brides, events and little runways but the work was never enough and so I took the opportunity to start anew in London.

A new beginning a new adventure for a girl like me who has never took a plane before!

After a month I found my first company to work with and in the period after the company grow. I’m a freelance.

I wanted to expand my knowledge and do more creative works so I started to look online for a makeup course that could help me with that and I jump in Delamar Academy !

So in 2019 I started the complete course at Delamar with amazing tutors who worked and work in the entertainment industry in big productions.

It was really a great experience where I met new people whom I became friend with and learn a lot of new skills. Here I learned how to stile hairs, how to do casualty makeup and how to apply and create prosthethics.

The kind of things I was looking for, since my previous works where kind all the same and extremely lonely.

As probably everybody know the Pandemic happened and after that the strike of actors and writers so since the till now is was really though especially for a beginner ,in the industry, like me. Slowly things are getting better but it is still hard.

But I managed to make few independent projects as assistant and as designer.

All small productions that also won some prices, one of the latest is The Time Machine , who won the British short film awards in 2024!

The director Zak Harney and the production AFox&Cox where amazing but not only them the all crew was great.

All my works are on my cv and slowly I want, when possible, to bring them here on my blog.

My little plane is to continue to write on here with products reviews, tips on makeup and sharing my works and maybe sometime a few extra thing, like things I loved during a period of time. Hopefully I’ll be able to have time and things to write!

I think for now I can close this post, I’d loke to apologize if the are some errors in my English, I’m Italian so it can happen easily. I’m also doing this to exercise my English!
